TOTP QR Code image on GMAIL not visible

Hello Team,

To get the TOTP QR code image on GMAIL, follow these steps.

“Gmail uses Google’s secure proxy servers to serve images in emails to protect users and your domain from image-based security vulnerabilities. However, because of this image proxy, links to images that rely on internal IPs or cookies can sometimes break.

To resolve this issue, you can use the Image URL proxy allowlist setting, which allows you to create and maintain a list of internal URLs that bypass proxy protection.

Please follow the steps below to add the image URL to the allowlist:

  1. In your Google Admin console (admin.google.com),
  2. Go to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > End User Access.
  3. On the left, select your top-level organization.
  4. Scroll down to the Image URL proxy allowlist section. Versa QR Code URL is https://guardian.versanow.net/
  5. Enter the image URL patterns you want to allow. Matching URLs will bypass the image proxy. Refer to the guidelines for details on how to format these patterns.
  6. At the bottom, click Save.
